211 Circuit Analysis II

Course Description

This course aims to convey a knowledge of basic concepts of circuit analysis techniques. It is a continuation of the Circuit Analysis I and covers inductance and capacitance, initial conditions, periodic functions, average and RMS values, complex numbers, phasors, sinusoidal steady state circuit analysis, and polyphase circuits. Special attention will be devoted to circuit simulation based on the Spice program. This will be reflected in both the lectures, homework, and the special projects.
